So what do you get when you cross sixteen Cd'A Club Rotarians and a couple family members with a stretch of Hwy 95 and I-90 on a Saturday morning? How about 28 garbage bags and nearly 600 pounds of trash!

What a fantastic 7:30 AM showing of vested Rotarians who were primed with coffee and donuts to pick up trash along our roadways. If the interchange of Hwy 95 and I-90 or the Blackwell Island area look a bit fresher these days, you can thank the Childers-led cleanup crew!

Was it BENEFICIAL to all concerned, and did they build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? You bet!

Thanks Steve C, Kristin, Sam, Nick, Bob M, Bob B, Skip, Steve R, Kiki, Craig, Gary, Tom, Sue, Jeff, Doug, Tarie, Joe and Jim!

Thank you for volunteering to improve our community!

Thank you, Rotary Club of Coeur d'Alene!

It's that time of year again!

Studies have found that the old adage, “it’s better to give than to receive,” is correct. Spending money on others or giving to charity puts a bigger smile on your face.

Well, there were smiles on a lotta’ faces at Club this week as we recognized twenty-one worthy Youth and Community organizations. In total, $36,000 in grants were awarded.
